To import tasks into Phantom, you must either use a CSV or JSON file. Using a JSON file is strictly for advanced use cases, and is available so for those who have specialized custom tools to create their tasks and profiles. The Template for Task Creation can be found: here.
Using a CSV sheet is the recommended method when creating a large amount of tasks. To use CSV import, it is easiest to create your spreadsheet by using Google Sheets. First, you need to make a copy of the example sheet. You can do this by clicking the File button in the top left corner.
Then go down to Make a copy... and click it. You will then be redirected to a copied version of the example sheet. Feel free to rename it anything you wish.
In your newly created spreadsheet, making tasks is straightforward.
Enter the SKU or URL in the URL column, choose the Site using the dropdown in the Site column, choose a Size using the size dropdown. Enter proxies into the Proxy column if need be, this column can be left blank if proxies are saved in settings within Phantom. Enter a Profile in the Profile column, enter true or false for randomEmail (ONLY available for FootLocker and Footaction), enter true or false for randomName.
Once you have created all your tasks, click the File button in the top left corner.
Then go down to Download as and click it.
Then go down to Comma-separated values (.csv, current sheet) and click it. This will download your task sheet as a CSV, which is the necessary format to import your own task spreadsheet into Phantom.
Then, within Phantom go to the View Tasks page. Click Import.
This will prompt a window from which you can select either a json or csv. In this example, my tasks are saved as Phantom Tasks Example - Sheet1.csv. I want to select this file, and click Open in the bottom right corner. This will import your tasks into Phantom.
To export tasks, simply click the export button.
Then name your file, choose where it saves to, and click save. Exported tasks save as a json.
Troubleshooting:
Why am I getting size unavailable when I imported from the CSV?
Make the size cell plain text, and manually add a .0 to all whole sizes.
Why did nothing import when I clicked open?
Your CSV or json had values or fields that could not be read by Phantom. Please make sure everything is filled in correctly, and all fields are satisfied.
