Ghost uses webhooks as a way to send notifications to discord or slack. Follow the steps below to setup a webhook via discord, and learn how to use it within Ghost.
Method 1:
1. Click the drop down under your server name.
2. Click the server settings button.
3. Click on the webhooks tab.
4. Click on the blue-purple create webhook button.
5. Click copy to copy your webhook. Click save to save your webhook.
6. Paste your webhook in the Discord/Slack API Webhook field, and click save. Once done, click the save button directly under the ignore entries and ignore losses blanks. Tick those if you do not want Ghost to send each entry and each loss to the webhook, which is better to reduce clutter. Click the test webhook button to test your webhook.
Method 2:
1. Click the + icon to create a channel.
2. Title your channel whatever you like, select text channel and press create channel.
3. Click the settings button or gear icon next to your newly created channel.
4. Click the webhooks tab.
5. Click the create webhook button.
6. Click the copy button to copy your webhook, then click the save button to save your webhook.
7. Paste your webhook into the Discord/Slack API Webhook blank. Once done, click the save button directly under the ignore entries and ignore losses blanks. Tick those if you do not want Ghost to send each entry and each loss to the webhook, which is better to reduce clutter. Press the test webhook button to test your webhook.
If both of these methods don't work, make sure the domain of the webhook URL is discordapp.com and not discord.com.
